Funeral services for Shirley Ann Baldwin Mitchell, age 67, will be held on Thursday, April 9, 2015, at 2:00 PM from Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Rev. Steve Dean and Rev. Scott Whaley officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00-8:00 PM on Wednesday, April 08, 2015. Mrs. Mitchell passed away Tuesday, April 7, 2015, at her residence. Survivors include: two daughters, Anita Mitchell McCain (husband, Ricky) of Woodland and Kimberly Mitchell Coleman (husband, Dwayne) of Roanoke; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Kevin Warren, Kendle Bayliss, John Warren, Micky Henry, Kevin Baldwin, and Tim Cox. Honorary pallbearers will be Randy Black, Eddie Baldwin, Jim Baldwin, Ricky Wheeler, Kenneth Baldwin, and Danny Baldwin. A Roanoke native, Mrs. Mitchell was born on December 25, 1947, the daughter of James Monroe and Emma Brand Baldwin. She was a housewife and caregiver. Mrs. Mitchell was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jerry Mitchell; one sister, Sue Henry; and three brothers, James Baldwin, Edward Baldwin, and Gene Baldwin.
