Obituary of Patrick Mark Taylor

Funeral services for Patrick Mark Taylor, age 55, of Roanoke, will be held Monday, June 15, 2015, at 2:00 pm from Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Rev. Tim Whaley officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Christian Church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning at 10:00 am on Monday. Mr. Taylor died Saturday, June 13, 2015, at his home. Survivors include two daughters, Amanda Tyler (husband, Joshua) of Roanoke and Chelsea Taylor of Louisville, Kentucky; five brothers, Lynn Taylor, Rickie Taylor (wife, Wanda), Phillip Taylor (wife, Lisa), Jamie Taylor (wife, Melissa), Bobby Taylor (wife, Angie) all of Roanoke; two grandchildren, Alexus Pauline and Trinity Noel; four nephews and one niece. Pallbearers will be Mike Taylor, Chris Taylor, Brandon Taylor, Brian Taylor, Chris Potts, and Blake Perry. A lifelong Roanoke resident, Mr. Taylor was born October 6, 1959, the son of Frankie D. and Shirley Perry Taylor. He was a self-employed painter. Mr. Taylor was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents, Oran J. Perry, Sr. and Janie Thrower Perry and Avery & Bessie Pinkard Taylor.
