Memorial services for Lois Richardson Brown, age 76, of Costa Rica, formerly of Randolph County, will be held on Sunday, June 28, 2015, at 2:00 PM from Trinity Baptist Church with Rev. S.T. Janney and Rev. Jeff Burns officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memory Gardens with Quattlebaum Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends at the church from 1:00-2:00 PM on Sunday, June 28, 2015. Mrs. Brown passed away on Tuesday, March 24, 2015. Survivors include her husband, Milton Brown of Winston Salem, NC; two daughters, Sharon Brown Norton of Matthews, NC and Melanie Brown Lyon of Winston Salem, NC; one son, Milton Philpott Brown, Jr. of Baltimore, MD; two grandsons, Joshua and Jeremy; one sister, Frances Hamby Cummings of Roanoke; and one brother, Herbert Richardson of Roanoke. A Randolph County native, Mrs. Brown was born on February 22, 1939, the daughter of Chink and Ura Miles Richardson. She was a member of International Baptist in Costa Rica and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Lucille Morton; and one brother, Clyde Richardson. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, P.O. Box 650309, Dallas, TX 75265-0309.
