Funeral services for Patricia Cummings, age 70, of Wadley, will be held on Sunday, April 17, 2016, at 2:00 PM from Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Pastor Lanita Cotney and Pastor Richie Sims officiating. Burial will follow at Forrester’s Chapel.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00-8:00 PM on Saturday, April 16, 2016.
Ms. Cummings passed away on Wednesday, April 13, 2016, at her home.
Survivors include one daughter, Lisa Kirchner of Springville, AL; one son, Horace G. “Jerry” Norris of Wadley; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one sister, Kathy Hunt of Wadley.
Pallbearers will be Mike Clemmons, David Kirchner, Kim Screws, Scott Hodges, Anthony Claborn, and John Chamblee.
A lifelong resident of Randolph County, Ms. Cummings was born on March 3, 1946, the daughter of Earnest Jefferson and Alberta Stewart Tillis. She was a member of The Bridge Church, a travel member of the North East Alabama Cherokees, and had been employed by Avondale Mills as a spinner. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her son, David Edward Norris.
