Funeral services for Donnie Ferrell Dutton, age 55, of Roanoke, will be held on Friday, December 23, 2016, at 12:00 PM from Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Rev. Billy Puckett officiating. Burial will follow at Whites Chapel Methodist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00-8:00 PM on Thursday, December 22, 2016.
Mr. Dutton passed away on Wednesday, December 21, 2016.
Survivors include his wife, Teresa Mitchell Dutton of Roanoke; his mother and step-father, Mary and Percy Maddox of Roanoke; two sons, Donnie Andrew Dutton (wife, Stephanie Danielle) of Roanoke and Brian Lee Dutton (wife, Kimberly Dawn) of Roanoke; three grandchildren, Joshua Travis Morse, Dallas Levi Dutton, and Donnie Andrew Dutton, Jr.; and three sisters, Jannie Alsabrook of Roanoke, Rose Gann of Woodland, and Jeanette Dutton of Roanoke.
Pallbearers will be Kendle Bayliss, Dixie Lee, Ben Gann, D.J. Duke, Ernest Bagley, Joshua Morse, Ricky Spruill, and Emmanuel Hill.
A lifelong resident of Randolph County, Mr. Dutton was born on November 27, 1961, the son of Olin Lee and Mary Jean Marrow Dutton. He was employed by A&B Trucking as a truck driver. He was preceded in death by his father; one grandson, Nathan Olin Dutton; and one brother, Olin Gene Dutton.
