Funeral services for Ava Vestuto, age 78, of Roanoke will be held on Monday, May 1, 2017, at 6:00 PM from the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 685 County Rd 61, Roanoke with Bro. Bernard Jones officiating.  Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, May 2, 2017, at 11:00 AM from New Hope Cemetery with Quattlebaum Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00-8:00 PM on Saturday, April 29, 2017. 
Ms. Vestuto passed away Friday, April 28, 2017, at East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika.
Survivors include: two daughters, Tina Wade (husband, Duane) of Bunnell, FL, and Bethany Waters of Louisville, KY; four grandchildren; one sister, Neva Clyde Rogers of Fayetteville, GA; and three brothers, Basil Britton Jones and Bert Delano Jones, both of Roanoke, and Bernard Franklin Jones of Jacksonville, FL.
A longtime Roanoke resident, Ms. Vestuto was born in Ellaville, Georgia, on May 21, 1938, the daughter of Oscar Roy and Vera Clyde Womack Jones.  She was a member of the Roanoke Jehovah’s Witnesses Kingdom Hall and worked as a nurse’s aide at Traylor’s Nursing Center. Ms. Vestuto was preceded in death by her parents and four brothers, Braxton Pearcy Jones, Byron Eugene Jones, Barney Lee Jones, and Buford Clinton Jones.
