Obituary of Donald Terry Bridges

Memorial services for Donald Terry Bridges, age 70, of Roanoke will be held on Friday, February 9, 2018, at 2:00 PM from Springfield Baptist Church with Bro. Clayton Scott and Bro. Anthony Caldwell officiating. 

Mr. Bridges passed away Saturday, February 3, 2018, at Wellstar West Georgia Medical Center in LaGrange, Georgia.

Survivors include: three daughters, Becky Bryant, Theresa McGee, and Stacy McMullin; three sons, Bill Bridges, Robert Bridges, and Randy Hunt; 12 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and four sisters, Sherry Taylor, Wanda Braswell, Christie Turner, and Denease Kirkland.

A Roanoke native, Mr. Bridges was born on March 25, 1947, the son of John Hubert and Jimmie Brown Bridges.  He was a member of Springfield Baptist Church and worked at Amoco Fabrics and Fibers.  Mr. Bridges was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Pat Bridges.
