Candles
Ruth was a light in my life, she taught me in Sunday School and through that she spoke into my life. As a teen I was always awkward and felt a little out of place at Church. She was always so kind to me and my family. She was genuine and as a teen one notices things like that. I know that I will see her again one day in heaven. May your hearts be comforted in knowing that she was a blessing to others.
Sorry to learn of Mrs. Childress's death. She was a sweet, loving person and a very caring neighbor and fellow First Baptist Church member of Mother's for many, many years. She will be greatly missed by all of the First Baptist Church members past and present and citizens of Roanoke who knew her. My prayers are with her family.
