Obituary of Jimmy Fred Butler

Graveside services for Jimmy Fred Butler, age 56, of Cragford will be held on Tuesday, January 20, 2015, at 2:00 PM from Randolph Memory Gardens with Rev. Tim Whaley officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00-2:00 on Tuesday, January 20, 2015. Mr. Butler passed away Monday, January 19, 2015, at his residence. Survivors include his companion, Darlene Atchley of Cragford; two daughters, Elizabeth Butler of Tampa, FL, and Kayla Forman of Heflin; Companion's children, Veronica Jones (husband, William) and Lisa Salers (husband, Wesley), both of Clay County; several of his companion's grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Glenda Rogers (husband, Tim) of Roopville, GA, Cathy Windsor (husband, Kirby) of Roanoke, and Lisa Taylor (husband, Phillip) of Roanoke. A Randolph County native, Mr. Butler was born on December 7, 1958, the son of James Fred and Doris Louise McKee Butler. He was Baptist by faith and worked as a welder. Mr. Butler was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Jerry Wayne Butler.
