A celebration of life service for Mary Sue Webb Pike, age 98, of Roanoke, will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, March 2, 2024, at Trinity Baptist Church with Rev. Aaron McCollough and Rev. Scott Whaley officiating.  A private burial will follow at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Broughton.

The family will receive friends at the church for one hour beginning at 11:00 am on Saturday, March 2nd.

Mrs. Pike passed away on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, at Traylor’s Nursing Home in Roanoke.

Survivors include one son, Rick Webb (Sandra) of Roanoke; two grandsons, John Webb (Jean) and Todd Webb (Marla); a great-granddaughter, Ashley Webb.

A Randolph County native, Mrs. Pike was born May 18, 1925, the daughter of Thomas Bassett and Josephine Sherrer Bassett.  She had worked in the Roanoke City Clerk’s office.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Tommy Webb, Sr.; husband, Recel Pike; son, Tommy Webb, Jr.; son, Tommy Pike; grandson, Scott Webb; 10 brothers and sisters.
