Graveside services for Faye Head, age 75, of Roanoke will be held on Monday, June 10, 2024, at 5:00 PM at Rock Mills Cemetery with Bro. Mike Brewer officiating and Quattlebaum Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4:00-5:00 PM on Monday before services begin.

Mrs. Head passed away on Thursday, June 6, 2024, at her daughter’s home in Tallassee.

Survivors include: one daughter, Stacey Hall of Tallassee; stepson, Michael Head of Childress, TX; four grandchildren, Heaven Gullatte, Elliott Hall, Hannah Hall, and Harrison Hall; and one great-grandchild, Maria Gullatte.

A Tallassee, Alabama native, Mrs. Head was born on March 29, 1949, the daughter of Douglas and Sue Thompson Hood.  She was a member of Rock Mills Methodist Church and worked as a housekeeper for the Randolph County Hospital and LaGrange College.  Mrs. Head enjoyed going to the Roanoke Senior Center.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Tymon Roger Head; one daughter, Serena White; and one brother, Ray Hood.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations in her memory be made to the Kidney Foundation or to the March of Dimes.
