Funeral services for Dale Wayne Henderson, age 78, of Roanoke, will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, October 14, 2024, at Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Rev. Scott Whaley and Sister Denise McGill officiating.  Burial will follow at Rock Springs Congregational Christian Church.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 to 2:00 pm on Monday, October 14th, prior to services.

Mr. Henderson passed away on Thursday, October 10, 2024, at Traylor Retirement Community.

Survivors include his granddaughter, Stacey Rice, of Roanoke.

Mr. Henderson was born on March 22, 1946, son of Carl Henderson and Pauline Parmer Henderson.  He was a member of Faith Baptist Church and attended Rock Springs Congregational Christian Church. He loved cars, his old dog Snow, and his family.  Mr. Henderson was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Florence Waldrep Henderson; and his daughter, Tammy Henderson Rice.
