Obituary

Graveside services for Mary Roland Hall, 94, of Roanoke will be held on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Clay County Memory Gardens with Quattlebaum Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00-1:00 on Tuesday before services begin.

Mrs. Hall passed away on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at Baptist Health Walker Hospital in Jasper, AL.

Survivors include: one son, Johnny (Linda) Patterson of Cragford; one daughter-in-law, Linda Patterson of Roanoke; seven grandchildren, Jerry Dale (Angela) Kennedy, Kelvin (Mandy) Kennedy, Nicholas (Katrina) Kennedy, Millie (Alan) Davis, Kelli (John) Hendon, John (Tiffany) Patterson and Jill Patterson; two brothers, Harold (Patricia) Roland and Fred (Sandra) Roland; 8 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be John Hendon, Neil Hicks, Alan Davis, John Patterson, C.J. Davis and Levi Patterson. Honorary pallbearers will be Jerry Dale Kennedy, Kelvin Kennedy and Nicholas Kennedy.

Mrs. Hall was born on September 7, 1930, the daughter of Joel and Millie Rosetta New Roland. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bobby Wayne Hall; a daughter, Elaine Patterson Kennedy; two sons, Arthur Joe Patterson and Willie Frank “Franky” Patterson; three sisters, Betty Blaides, Lou Adams, and Katie Brown; and two brothers, Willie Joe Roland and Lee Roland.

Memorials may be floral or the family requests donations be made to Knollwood Baptist Retirement Community, 1725 HWY 431, Roanoke, AL 36274.
