
Obituary of Arine Pike
Funeral services for Arine Pike, age 87, of Rock Mills will be held on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at 3:00 PM at Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Bro. Jamie Taylor officiating. Burial will follow at Paran Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00 Noon – 3:00 PM before services begin on Tuesday.
Ms. Pike passed away on Sunday, February 16, 2025, at Tanner East Alabama Medical Center.
Survivors include: one daughter, Mary Lou Laws of Rock Mills; four grandchildren, Mindy Ward (Pat), Kayla Weathers (Thorley), Kaygan Benefield (Schyler) and Zoe Johnson (Dante Jordan); 9 great-grandchildren, Savannah Puckett, Caleb Puckett, Emily Puckett, Kayley Martin, Kinsley Weathers, Kaleb Benefield, Kason Benefield, Kadum Benefield and Kavri Benefield; four great-great-grandchildren, Emmalynn McManus, Elli Lipham, Kip Elliott and Kylen Elliott; and one sister, Geneva Kirby of Rock Mills.
Pallbearers will be Caleb Puckett, Kaleb Benefield, Dante Jordan, Thorley Weathers, Schyler Benefield and Pat Ward. Honorary pallbearers will be Kason Benefield, Kavri Benefield, Keith Pike, Kenneth Pike, Kevin Pike and Glenn Hill.
A lifelong Randolph County resident, Ms. Pike was born on September 22, 1937, the daughter of Albert “A.W.” and Susie Prather Pike. Ms. Pike was Christian by faith and loved the Lord; she was a faithful member of Paran Baptist Church. She loved her family and even had a soft spot for animals, especially her Rocky. Ms. Pike had worked as an inspector at West Point Pepperell before retiring. She loved having her morning talks with her granddaughter, Zoe, while she drank her coffee.She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Emma Sue Nolen; sister, Shelba Jean Arrington; and three brothers, Joe Pike, Gerson Pike and Manuel Langley.
