Obituary of Chandler Blaise Ogilvie

Funeral services for Chandler Blaise Ogilvie, age 21, of Roanoke will be held on Monday, April 7, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Bro. Scott Whaley officiating.  Burial will follow at Randolph Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00-8:00 PM on Sunday, April 6, 2025.

Blaise passed away on Monday, March 31, 2025, at Tanner Medical Center-East Alabama in Wedowee.

Survivors include his mother, Chanon Ogilvie of Roanoke; two sisters, Madalyn Ogilvie and Ella Grace Ogilvie; special nephew, Ryder Lane; an uncle, Kevin Ogilvie (Tera) of Wadley; cousins, Gage Ogilvie and Abbi Ogilvie; and his girlfriend, Mallory Burks.

Pallbearers will be Angel Cruz, Gage Ogilvie, Rocky Tittle, Anthony Bowen, Jacob White, Brody Bailey, Timmy Mitchell, and D’Anthony Higgins.  The TLE Department at Roanoke Walmart will serve as honorary pallbearers.

An Augusta, Georgia native, Blaise was born on August 5, 2003, the son of Chanon Ogilvie.  He was a member of Faith Baptist Church and worked in the automotive department at the Roanoke Walmart.  Blaise loved music and rapping and was a guitar player, and he was an avid gun collector that enjoyed shooting.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Carswell Ogilvie, Jr., and Sarilyn Brewer Ogilvie.
