
Obituary of Roy Acuff Glass
Memorial services for Roy Acuff Glass, age 54, of Anniston, formerly of Roanoke, will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Rock Mills Community Holiness Church with Bro. Horace Harper, Bro. Donald Harper, and Bro. Chris Wilkerson officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 1:00-2:00 before services begin.
The family will host a viewing at Quattlebaum Funeral Home on Saturday, April 26, 2025, from 5:00-8:00 PM.
Mr. Glass passed away on Thursday, April 24, 2025, at his residence.
Survivors include his wife, Erin Harper Glass of Anniston; one daughter, Madelon Taft of Panama City, FL; two sons, Seth Glass of Anniston and Jachin Taft (Shayla Vowell) of Roanoke; one grandchild, Haven Taft; two sisters, Gloria Lacy (Larry) of Five Points and Nancy Carol Huckabee (Chuck) of Roanoke; and two brothers, Webb Glass and Neil Glass, both of Roanoke.
A Randolph County native, Mr. Glass was born on March 8, 1971, the son of Chelley Monroe and Hattie Jennell Hill Glass. He was a member of Refuge Holiness Church and worked as a mechanic. Mr. Glass loved people, he loved his church, and cars were his passion. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Jimmy Hill and Chelley Wayne Glass.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations to be made to Quattlebaum Funeral Home to go towards final expenses.
