Funeral services for Dan Lee Moon, age 65, of Roanoke, will be held on Thursday, May 29, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Bro. Mike Brewer officiating.  Burial will follow at Randolph Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral from 5:00-7:00 pm on Wednesday, May 28th.

Mr. Moon passed away on Sunday, May 25, 2025, at Wellstar West Georgia Medical Center in LaGrange.

Survivors include: his mother, Jo Ann Moon of Roanoke; sister, Lucy Moon of Roanoke; and four nephews.

Pallbearers will be Justin Fincher and BJ Moon.

Mr. Moon was born on October 19, 1959, the son of Ray Eugene Moon and Jo Ann Mayo Moon. He was Christian by faith and worked in construction. Mr. Moon also served in the United States Air Force. He was preceded in death by his father; brother, Ray Moon, Jr.; and one nephew.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Quattlebaum Funeral Home to assist with final expenses.
