Funeral services for Joyce Bailey Hall, age 85, of Roanoke will be held on Friday, August 1, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Bro. AJ Pinkard and Bro. Derek Farr officiating. Interment will follow at Heritage Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 9:00 – 10:00 AM before services begin on Friday.

Pallbearers will be Justin Anglin, Joey Anglin, Cole Sprayberry, Blake Anderson, John Gurr and Andy Sprayberry.

Mrs. Hall passed away on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at Wellstar LaGrange Hospice in LaGrange, GA.

Survivors include: son, Dexter Anglin (Renee) of Roanoke; daughter-in-law, Laraine Anglin of Roanoke; four grandchildren, Joey Anglin (Ashley) of Fortson, GA, Autumn Anglin of Opelika, Justin Anglin (Kaci) of Somerville and Carissa Hyatt (Garrett) of Huntsville; five great-grandchildren, Madison Anglin, Jax Medlin, Adeline Medlin, Charleigh Jo Anglin and Knox Anglin; and one brother, Venson Bailey (Betty).

Mrs. Hall was born on November 15, 1939, the daughter of William Loyd and Maudie Smith Bailey. She was Christian by faith and was a member of Heritage Baptist Church, formerly Center Chapel Baptist Church. Mrs. Hall retired from Palm Beach Co. and the Alabama Department of Public Health. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Debra Joyce Sudduth; son, Ronald “Ronnie” Melvin Anglin; two sisters, Jean Barnett and Mavie Dean Bennett; and a brother, Glyrene Bailey.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Heritage Baptist Church.
