Funeral services for Jan Pool Woody, age 63, of Roanoke will be held on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Bro. Chuck Potts officiating.  Burial will follow at New Hope Christian Church Cemetery in Chambers County.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00-8:00 PM on Friday, August 29, 2025.

Ms. Woody passed away on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at Tanner-East Alabama Medical Center in Wedowee.

Survivors include: two daughters, Mariah Woody of Anderson, SC, and Ashley Trejo (Frank) of Adelento, CA; two sons, Jacob Woody of Roanoke and Kenneth Knight of Huntsville; and six grandchildren, Azura Trejo, Matthew Trejo, Nathaniel Trejo, Evalynn Trejo, Ryder Lane, and Colby Knight.

Pallbearers will Michael Baldwin, Hunter Baldwin, Nick Potts, Dalton Holcombe, Phillip Johnson, and Jeff Baker.

A Jefferson County, Alabama native, Ms. Woody was born on August 2, 1962, the daughter of Eugene and Joyce Burdette Pool.  She was a member of Living Waters Bible Church and worked at Corelinc.  Ms. Woody was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Patricia Short.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to Quattlebaum Funeral Home to help with final arrangements.
