Funeral services for Joyce Ann Vickery Morris, age 80, of Roanoke will be held on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Bro. Jamie Kelley officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00-2:00 PM on Tuesday before services begin.

Mrs. Morris passed away on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at Tanner Medical Center in Carrollton.

Survivors include: three daughters, Tammy Hornsby (Chris) of LaGrange, Rhonda Hale (Jimmy) and Ashley Adkins, both of Roanoke; three sons, Marcus Morris of Roanoke, Jimmy Ray Morris (Amy) of Cleveland, OH, and Roderick Vorhees of North Carolina; eight grandchildren, Jonathan Dufrene (Sabrina), Ernest Dufrene (Shianna), Heather Harvel (Blake), Jessica Greene, Ryan Hornsby, Noah Hornsby, Dana Adkins, Jr., and Mason Adkins; four step-grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.

A Tennessee native, Mrs. Morris was born on June 7, 1945, the daughter of Sherman Charles and Mary Ellen Martin Vickery.  She worked as an operator at Franklin Aluminum and also as a waitress at Rogers BBQ.  Mrs. Morris was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Willie Morris, Jr.,; four brothers; and five sisters.
