Funeral services for Cathy B. Windsor, age 63, of Roanoke, will be held on Sunday, October 19, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Bro. Tim Whaley officiating. Burial will follow at Whites Chapel Methodist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00-2:00 PM on Sunday before services begin. 

Mrs. Windsor passed away on Friday, October 17th, 2025, at Grady Memorial Hospital.

Survivors include her husband, Kirby Windsor; two daughters, Amanda White and Crystal White, both of Roanoke; seven grandchildren, Kayden Powell, Koye White, Kaleb Powell, Hayden Daniel, Jackson Green, Riley Green, and Hollie Kate Green; and two sisters, Glenda Brewer and Lisa Taylor.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons.

Mrs. Windsor was born on December 17, 1961, the daughter of James Fred Butler and Doris McKee Butler. She was a member of Cornerstone Church and had been employed as the head cook at Wedowee High School. Mrs. Windsor loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed cutting grass and taking care of her flowers.  She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Jimmy Butler and Wayne Butler.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105) or Cornerstone Church (PO Box 525, Roanoke, AL 36274).
