Funeral services for Tony Hernandez, age 68, of Roanoke will be held on Thursday, October 23, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Bro. Mark Brand and Bro. Mark Moore officiating.  Burial will follow at Randolph Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00-2:00 PM on Thursday before services begin.

Mr. Hernandez passed away on Saturday, October 18, 2025, at Wellstar West Georgia Hospital in LaGrange, Georgia.

Survivors include his wife, Carolyn West Hernandez of Roanoke; three children, Jesus Antonio Hernandez Castelan (Leticia) of Tijuana, Mexico, Iris Roxana Arroyo (Johnnie) of Redlands, CA, and Antonio West Hernandez of Roanoke; two stepsons, Wayne Jackson (Jessica) and Joe Jackson (Becky); five grandchildren, Isaac Hernandez, Christian Hernandez, Gizelle Hernandez, Celeste Hernandez, and Jeremiah Arroyo; three step-grandchildren, Gray Jackson, Kate Jackson, Brooke Jackson; two sisters, Marina Hernandez Ruiz and Carmela Hernandez Ruiz; and one brother, Augustin  Hernandez Ruiz.

Pallbearers will be Marco Riz, Leobardo Escobedo, Federico Balderas, Aureliano Barron, Pedro Limon and Travis Morse.

A Monteverde, Mexico native, Mr. Hernandez was born on December 12, 1956.  He attended Handley Avenue Church of God and Perfect Vision and he really enjoyed attending church.  Mr. Hernandez owned and operated Forestree Network Services and enjoyed his life’s work.  He was very dedicated to his family and he loved them very much.  Mr. Hernandez was preceded in death by his parents, Antonio Hernandez Garcia and Maximina Ruiz Casillas; brother, Avelino Hernandez Ruiz; and a sister, Epifania Hernandez Ruiz.
