Funeral services for Rosemary Hester Morman, age 70, of Roanoke, will be held on Sunday, November 2, 2025, at 4:00 pm at Big Springs Baptist Church with Ricky Hester officiating.  Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery with Quattlebaum Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Morman will lie in state at the church from 3:00-4:00 pm on Sunday, November 2nd.

Mrs. Morman passed away on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at Roanoke Healthcare and Rehab.

Survivors include two sisters, Jennifer Vinson (Mike) and Phyllis Hodges (Joey); two brothers, Ricky Hester (Alesia) and Don Hester (Babs); stepson, Chad Morman (Mandie); nieces, Rosa Causey (Justin), Brandy Barentine (Chad), Kelly Vinson, Elaine Hester, Megan Denny (Alex), Stephanie Doss (Scott), Jesalyn Pearl, and Jacquie Cummings (Matt); nephews, T.J. Rushton,  Casey Hester (Kelli), Jagar Anthony, Jeremy Butler, and Stevie Butler; step-grandson, Conner Morman; a host of great-nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Gabe Hester, T.J. Rushton, Bryant Rushton, Justin Causey, Casey Hester, Skylar Hester, Chad Barentine, Jimmy Osborne, and Rick Oglesby.

Mrs. Morman was born on April 15, 1955, the daughter of Ottis Hester and Thelma Chase Hester. She was a member of Big Springs Baptist Church and had been employed as a loan officer and banker at Colonial Bank.  Mrs. Morman loved her nieces and nephews, and she enjoyed gardening, camping, and being outside. She was an avid Alabama fan. She was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Michael Eugene Morman; parents; and one niece, Aleisha Hester.
