Funeral services for Jackie Ray Ramsey, age 83, of Roanoke will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Bro. Bobby Overton officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning at 1:00 PM on Saturday before services begin.

Mr. Ramsey passed away on Thursday, November 6, 2025, at Traylor’s Retirement Center.

He is survived by his sister, Brenda White (David) of Roanoke.

A Roanoke native, Mr. Ramsey was born on September 17, 1942, the son of John Henry and Vera Marie Rollins Ramsey.  He was a member of Neighborhood House of Prayer and worked as a machine operator for Interface.  Mr. Ramsey was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, James Ramsey and Wayne Ramsey; and sisters, Betty Earl and Peggy Canada.
