Funeral services for Christina Jean Vowell, age 46, of Roanoke, will be held on Sunday, November 23rd, at 2:00 pm at Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Bro. Jason Vowell and Bro. Jason Messer officiating.  Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2:00 to 8:00 pm on Saturday, November 22nd.

Ms. Vowell passed away on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at Wellstar West Georgia Medical Center.

Survivors include: her fiancé, Albert Wright of Standing Rock; daughters, Shayla Vowell of Roanoke and Gracie Wright of Wedowee; son, Albert Joseph Wright of Roanoke; grandchild, Haven Taft; mother, Mary Rogers (Ruben) of Roanoke; father, Randy Vowell (Sherry) of Roanoke; brothers, Jason Vowell and Jamie Vowell; nieces and nephews, Sonya Vowell, Amber Vowell, Tyler Lacey, Mason Vowell, Natalie Vowell, Randon Vowell, Nate Vowell, and Kara Arrington; and step-brother, Jamie Reynolds.

Pallbearers will be Jason Vowell, Jamie Vowell, Jamie Reynolds, Kevin Gurley, AJ Wright, Mason Vowell, Nate Vowell, and Randon Vowell.

Ms. Vowell was born on March 12, 1979, the daughter of Randy Vowell and Mary Smith Rogers.  She attended Pleasant Hill Baptist Church and worked in assembly at Wellborn Cabinets.  Christina had a big heart and loved everybody, especially her grandbaby.  She took care of other’s needs above her own.  Ms. Vowell was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents and her cousins, Anthony Bozeman, Cody Bozeman, and Derek Bozeman.
