Funeral services for Elnora Goodwin Billings, age 74, of Wedowee, will be held on Sunday, December 21st, 2025, at 1:30 pm at Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Marlon Williams officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4:00 to 7:00 pm (Central time) on Friday, December 19, 2025. 

Mrs. Billings passed away on Monday, December 8, 2025, at her home.

Survivors include her husband, Charles Billings of Wedowee; one daughter, Myrna Williams of Anniston; one son, Marlon Williams (Sarah) of Tunkhannock, PA; four grandchildren, Zaire Salter (Zabrinski), Jafta Berry (Deja Andrews), Saraiah Williams, and Logan Williams; two great-grandchildren, Evan Johnson and Zayda Salter; three sisters, Betty O’Neal of Riverdale, GA, Edith Mae Alls of Bowdon, GA and Evelyn Houston (Arthur) of Newell; four brothers, Jerry Goodwin of Riverdale, GA, Dewey “Jewel” Goodwin of Carrollton, GA, Rubin Goodwin of Birmingham and Bruel Goodwin (Clara) of Bowdon, GA.

A Wedowee native, Mrs. Billings was born on July 16, 1951, the daughter of Bennie and Elnora Lancaster Goodwin.  She was a member of Kingdom Hall of  Jehovah’s Witnesses and had been employed with Wellborn Cabinets, LaMar Manufacturing and Sewell Manufacturing.  She enjoyed teaching others about the Bible and spending time with her family and carrying them to sporting events.  Her hobbies included sewing and coin collecting.  Mrs. Billings was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Willie Ray Goodwin, Mattie Jean Goodwin, Bobby Mack Goodwin, and Bennie Goodwin.

Memorials may be floral or the family suggests contributions to Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 685 County Road 61, Roanoke, AL 36274
