She was such a sweet soul and a wonderful Sunday School teacher. This community, Wadley, and other communities will miss her. God bless the family. Just know that Heaven is going to be fun when we get there. We've got so many family members and friends already there. What joy!

Ms. Mauryce was a loved member of Abanda Methodist Church, of which she became a member in 1947. She is truly missed.

Quattlebaum’s was founded in 1930 by Robert B. Quattlebaum on Roanoke’s West Point Street. Relocated to Maple Drive, Quattlebaum Funeral Home was just across from Knight Sanatorium for many years. In 1953, a new building was constructed on College Street – where the funeral home is today.
