Funeral services for Erna Sheppard, age 91, of Morrow, GA, will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Bro. Keith Benefield officiating.  Burial will be held at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA, at a later date.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00-2:00 PM on Saturday before services begin.

Mrs. Sheppard passed away on Friday, December 12, 2025, at Roanoke Healthcare Center.

Survivors include: two nephews, Steve Burks of Roanoke and Gavin Nawrocki of Opelika; and one niece, Bethy Ann Pike of Roanoke.

Mrs. Sheppard was born on September 9, 1934, in Berlin, Germany.  She was Christian by faith and worked at Freeman’s Jewelers.  Mrs. Sheppard enjoyed sewing, bird watching, plants, and she loved classical music.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin “Benny” Sheppard; her parents; brother, Gunther Nawrocki; and her beloved dog, Misty.
