Mrs Hamner was a true southern lady. She was a friend of my grandparents and parents. She helped me with my wedding in 1971 in Roanoke at our First United Methodist Church. I couldn’t have made all of the plans without her expert advice and help. I was able to see her at my Uncle Bob Bradshaw’s visitation several years ago in Roanoke. She was as sweet and kind as always! A beautiful woman who helped me when I needed it so much! Blessed by her friendship! May she now rest in her heavenly home. With love, Jane Beverly Reynolds
