Obituary

Funeral services for Joshua Kyle “Worm” Henry, age 40, of Roanoke will be held on Friday, January 9, 2026, at 5:00 PM at Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Bro. Richie Farrow, Randy Black and Hannah Henry officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 3:00-5:00 PM on Friday before services begin.

Mr. Henry passed away on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, in Roanoke.

Survivors include: one daughter, Hannah Sue Henry of Roanoke; one son, Joshua Eli Henry of Roanoke; best friend of 21 years, Jessica Henry; one brother, Justin Henry (Dorothy) of Roanoke; and a nephew, Gauge Henry.

Honorary pallbearers will be Shannon Fincher, Kamdyn Fincher, Michael Paige, Darnell Dean, Joshua Henry, Steve Ragsdale, Landon Calhoun, Robbie Cook, and David Segars.

A Roanoke native, Mr. Henry was born on March 28, 1985, the son of Michael Larry “Micky” Henry and Pamela Yvette Ferrell Henry.  He was a member of High Pine Baptist Church and worked as a mechanic for Randolph County and Roanoke City.  Mr. Henry loved classic cars and fishing and was a member of the Dickert Volunteer Fire Department.  He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Jason Henry.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations to be made to Quattlebaum Funeral Home to go towards final expenses.
