Funeral services for Tonya Ilene Kirby, age 46, of Valley, will be held on Friday, January 23, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Bro. Steve York officiating. Burial will follow at Five Points Cemetery with Quattlebaum Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 – 8:00 PM (Central time) on Thursday, January 22nd.

Ms. Kirby passed away on Friday, January 16, 2026, at her home.

Survivors include: two daughters, Alana Todd and Juna Todd; son, Levi Todd; sister, Jessica DeHart; brothers, Michael Kirby (Karen), Corey Smith (Kimberly), Calvin Jeter (Georgia), and Henry Kirby (Audrianna); other family members, Deborah Williamson (Buddy D.), Rhonda Morse, James Kirby (Patsy), and Craig Kirby; best friend, Baylee Carmichael and Dynasty Hayden.

Pallbearers will be Bradley Coker, Michael Elijah Kirby, Jordan Kirby, and Michael Kirby.

Ms. Kirby was born April 14, 1979, in Newberry, South Carolina. She was a registered nurse for 20+ years and was most recently employed with East Alabama Medical Center where she mentored lots of nurses.  Tonya loved fashion and perfume and always wanted to look boujee.  She loved spending time with her friends and family, especially her children. Tonya was loved by all her coworkers and patients. Ms. Kirby was preceded in death by her parents, James Kirby and Hazel Warnell O’Donald Kirby.
