Hubert was a quiet and sincere young boy when I knew him in school.
His oldest sister Melda was his loving caretaker for so many many years and brought him much happiness, as one of his favorite outings was going
out-to-eat, at his favorite restaurant, for as long as he was physically able.
She attended to special silent needs that only a sister can do for a brother and as long on patience and endurance. Prayers and blessings to all the family members and loved ones.

I worked at Amoco for years with Hubert and my late husband (Danny Noles ) were best of friends I will always remember his green Stanley Thremos with sweet and banana sandwiches He was one of a kind really thought a lot of him I also remember that little Porsche I send thoughts and prayers

Quattlebaum’s was founded in 1930 by Robert B. Quattlebaum on Roanoke’s West Point Street. Relocated to Maple Drive, Quattlebaum Funeral Home was just across from Knight Sanatorium for many years. In 1953, a new building was constructed on College Street – where the funeral home is today.
