Heather Peden Williams, age 55, of Roanoke, passed away on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at Wellstar West Georgia Medical Center in LaGrange.

Survivors include: her husband, Marion Williams, III of Roanoke; two daughters, Sarah Arney and Danielle Hulsey; two grandchildren, Nathaniel Jeffreys and Maddox Sears; her parents, Larry Peden (Darlene) and Debby Cain (Bill); one sister, Dana Peden Gentile; two brothers, Deric Cain and Lee Peden. Heather is also survived by Marion's children: Kelley Holloway (Jeremy), Hannah Earl (Ryan), Alex Williams (Tiffany), and grandchildren: Anna Grace and Emma Holloway, Evan and Samuel Earl, Ayden and Julian Williams

A Birmingham native, Mrs. Williams was born on March 22, 1970, daughter of Larry Eugene Peden and Deborah Elizabeth Echols. She had been employed as a correctional officer in Decatur, GA, and a paramedic in Birmingham. Heather also served as Deputy Coroner for Jefferson County. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Willie and Dean Peden, and her maternal grandparents, William and Sarah Putman.
