Funeral services for Luther Michael ”Sarge”  Webb, age 83, of Roanoke will be held on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Bro. Greg Norred and Bro. Mike Brewer officiating.  Burial will follow at Randolph Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00-8:00 PM on Tuesday, March 31, 2026. 

Mr. Webb passed away on Sunday, March 29, 2026, at East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika.

Survivors include: two daughters, Connie Banks Brown of Ranburne and Jennifer Webb Rushton (William) of Roanoke; one son, Timothy Banks (Michelle) of Tyrone, GA; six grandchildren, Shelby Peterson (Jacob), Jake Banks (Emily), Haley Banks, Riley Earl, Seth Brown (Olivia), and Brodie Banks; and two great-grandchildren, Colson Earl and Rainey Jane Banks.

Pallbearers will be Riley Earl, Seth Brown, Jacob Peterson, Jake Banks, Shad Brown, and Willard Earl, Jr.

A Randolph County native, Mr. Webb was born on October 19, 1942, the son of Virginia Glass Smith.  He was a member of the Rock Mills Church of the Nazarene and was a United States Army veteran of the Vietnam conflict.  Mr. Webb worked as an executive chef at the Ramada Inn during his career.  He was preceded in death by his mother; wife, Carolyn Webb; infant daughter, Lisa Elaine Webb; and his grandparents, Luther J. and Elizabeth Glass.
