Scott Deibler, age 79, of Roanoke passed away on Monday, April 6, 2026, at Tanner Medical Center in Carrollton, GA.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Screws Deibler; one daughter, Allison Deibler of Birmingham; a step-daughter, Jamaica Hough (Troy) of The Rock, GA; a step-son, Corey Maddox of Franklin, GA; and two grandchildren, Gavin Hough and Kyndal Hough.

A Pennsylvania native, Mr. Deibler was born on September 22, 1946, the son of Donald

 and Audrey Deibler.  He was a retired United States Army Colonel where he served in the Vietnam conflict.  Mr. Deibler enjoyed spending time with his family, traveling (especially to the beach), meeting up with his friends, and playing golf.  He was preceded in death by his parents.
