Funeral services for Jerry Wayne Pollard, age 86, of Roanoke will be held on Sunday, April 12, 2026, at 4:00 PM at Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Bro. Tim Whaley officiating.  Burial will follow at Midway Community Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00-7:00 PM on Saturday, April 11, 2026.

Mr. Pollard passed away on Thursday, April 9, 2026, at Traylor’s Health and Rehab.

Survivors include his wife, Charlotte Daughtrey Pollard; two daughters, Shannon Norred (Chad) and Beth Driver; one son, Jeff Pollard; two grandchildren, Paige Roberts (Parker) and Kala Driver (Hunter); and one sister, Nancy Brown (Mike).

Pallbearers will be Bill Pollard, Dewayne Pollard, Jerome Taylor, Eli Taylor, Jay LaPorto, Michael Jeffers and alternate Parker Roberts.

A Wedowee native, Mr. Pollard was born on May 9, 1939, the son of Jet and Lucille Stephens Pollard.  He was a member of Midway Community Church and was retired from ANCI. Mr. Pollard loved to hunt and fish and loved playing dominoes. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and one sister.

Memorials may be floral or donations may be made to the Midway Community Church Cemetery Fund.
