Kristin Robin Chappell, 51, of Roanoke, passed away on Thursday, May 28, 2026, at Tanner East-Alabama Medical Center in Wedowee.

Survivors include her husband, Ernie Chappell, III; son, Gage Chappell (Savannah) of Ashville, AL; two grandchildren, Jude Chappell and Delilah Chappell; her father, Ronnie Bonner of Roanoke; and two brothers, Forrest Bonner (Joe) of Auburn and Hunter Bonner of Roanoke.

Mrs. Chappell was born on October 21, 1974, the daughter of Ronnie Bonner and Robbie Fuller.  Mrs. Chappell was a stay-at-home mom and later worked in retail management in Roanoke for over ten years. She loved arts and crafts, the color purple, and animals; cats were her favorite. Mrs. Chappell’s life revolved around her family. She adored her husband and children, but her grandchildren were the light of her life. Mrs. Chappell was preceded in death by her mother and an infant son, Michael Chappell.
