Funeral services for Jimmy Bozeman, age 68, of Roanoke will be held on Thursday, June 11, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Bro. Keith Benefield officiating.  Burial will follow at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00-8:00 PM on Wednesday, June 10, 2026.

Mr. Bozeman passed away on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at his home.

Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Donna Bozeman; one daughter, Kim Bozeman (Kevin Worthy) of Roanoke; one son, Daniel Bozeman (Kim) of Roanoke; and five grandchildren, James Bozeman, Emmalyn Bozeman, John Freeman, Jannie Freeman, and Josh Morse.

Pallbearers will be James Bozeman, John Freeman, Tim Spears, Cody Crawford, Josh Holloway, and Wade Gay.

A Randolph County native, Mr. Bozeman was born on July 30, 1957, the son of James Junior and Hattie Ruth Kight Bozeman.  He worked as a bush hog/heavy equipment operator for the City of Roanoke, worked at Amoco Fabrics and Fibers, and ran the Texaco and Gulf service stations.  Mr. Bozeman loved his family, tending to his goats and cows, and his dog Cricket.  He enjoyed listening to trade-line in the morning and going hunting and fishing.  Mr. Bozeman was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Brandy Bozeman; a grandson, Ryan Bozeman; and two sisters, Naomi Teel and Charlene Spears.
