Funeral services for Geneva Pike Kirby, age 91, of Roanoke will be held on Friday, July 3, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Bro. Ricky Cummings, Bro. Keith Benefield, and Bro. Stoney Halsey officiating.  Burial will follow at Randolph Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00-8:00 PM on Thursday, July 2, 2026.

Mrs. Kirby passed away on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, in Roanoke, Alabama.

Survivors include: two daughters, Sandra Hassell and Deborah Hill; one son, Tim Kirby (Jennifer); 12 grandchildren, Amanda Hill (Ronnie), Adam Calhoun (Megan), Leanna Atkins (Dallas), Matti Hodges (Daniel), Tommy Kirby (Breanna), Timothy Wayne Kirby, Jr. (Ashley), Krista Kirby Hollinger, Timothy Glenn Hill, Mark Kirby, Stevie Bolt (Delana), Matthew Cummings (Jackie), and Michelle Head (Jamie); and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Tommy Kirby, Ronnie Hill, TJ Kirby, Adam Calhoun, Glenn Hill, Aiden Hill, Brantley Hill, Mark Kirby, and Matthew Cummings.

A Rock Mills native, Mrs. Kirby was born on March 7, 1935, the daughter of Albert Wilner and Susie Lucille Prather Pike.  She was a member of Paran Missionary Baptist Church and worked as a spinner for Wehadkee Yarns before retirement.  Mrs. Kirby was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Weyburn Kirby; a son, Albert Kirby; three grandchildren, Steve McQueen, Amy Mitchell, and Harley Davidson Kirby; and her brothers and sisters.
