Funeral services for Glenda McCollough Harper, age 70, of Roanoke will be held on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Bro. Larry McDaniel officiating.  Burial will follow at Randolph Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00-2:00 before services begin.

Mrs. Harper passed away on Sunday, July 26, 2026, at her home.

Survivors include: one daughter, Renee Daniel (Scotty) of Roanoke; two grandchildren, Connor Daniel and Haley Daniel; one sister, Bobbie Huey (Carlon); and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Pallbearers will be Jamie Norred, Bradley Horton, Casey Hester, Bert Prescott, Barry Owens, and Bobby Norred. Honorary pallbearers will be Allen McDaniel, Bob Hale, Mike Owens, Billy Crockell, Russell Kirby, Kenneth Mapp, and Skylar Hester.

A Roanoke native, Mrs. Harper was born on June 13, 1956, the daughter of Robert and Lula Mae Parmer McCollough.  She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church and worked as a bookkeeper for West Point Pepperell and Superior Gas.  Mrs. Harper loved her grandchildren and she enjoyed playing the piano.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ronnie R. Harper; and a grandson, Jonathan Daniel.
