Funeral services for Glenda White Melton, age 74, of Auburn, AL, will be held on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Hope Memorial Christian Church with Brent Noles and Jay Herren officiating.  Burial will follow at Forrester’s Chapel Cemetery with Quattlebaum Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

The family will receive friends at the church beginning at 1:00 PM on Tuesday before services begin.

Mrs. Melton passed away Thursday, August 13, 2026, at East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika.

Survivors include: one daughter, Tiffany Canaan (Dustin) of Florida; two sons, Shane Davis (Jamie) of Auburn and Scotty Davis (Erin) of Prague, OK; 19 grandchildren; four sisters, Linda Swanner, her twin, of Kansas, Evelyn Lakens of Prague, OK, Janet Smith of Wedowee and Sylvia Herren of Woodland; brothers-in-law, Fred Melton of Valley, Larry Melton of Roanoke, and Bruce Melton of Texas.

Pallbearers will be Tyler Davis, Dakota Davis, Cullen Davis, Dylan Davis, Dawson Cannon, Trace Melton, Trent Cannon, and Ki Imhoff.

An Oklahoma native, Mrs. Melton was born on November 7, 1951, the daughter of John Barnabas and Pearl White. She was a member of Hope Memorial Christian Church and worked as an administrative assistant. Mrs. Melton enjoyed quilting and sewing and loved hummingbirds and dogs.  She was a devoted Republican and loved Donald Trump.  Mrs. Melton was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Gary Melton; and two brothers, J.B. White and Adrian White.
