Funeral services for Mary Frances Danks, age 72, of Roanoke, will be held on Friday, March 25, 2016, at 11:00 AM from Quattlebaum Funeral Home with Rev. Horace Harper officiating. Burial will follow at Cedarwood Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 9:00-11:00 on Friday.
Ms. Danks passed away on Sunday, March 20, 2016, at Roanoke Healthcare Center.
Survivors include one daughter, Jennifer Parkerson of Roanoke; one son, John Parkerson of Roanoke; and one grandchild.
A Fulton County native, Ms. Danks was born on October 16, 1943, the daughter of Clayton and Winnie Rice Danks. She was a member of Maplewood Baptist Church and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents.
