Funeral services for Judith Nelms Bishop, age 64, of Roanoke will be held on Thursday October 6, 2016, at 2:00 PM from Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Rev. Scott Googe officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00-2:00 PM on Thursday, October 6, 2016.
Ms. Bishop passed away Friday, September 30, 2016, at her residence.
Survivors include her daughter, Sarah Bishop Briskey (husband, Norman)
of Roanoke; five grandchildren; and one sister, Phyllis Nelms Marshall of LaGrange.
A Heard County native, Ms. Bishop was born on January 14, 1952, the daughter of Zed and Naomi Gibson Nelms. She worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Ms. Bishop was preceded in death by her parents.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Judith Bishop Memorial Fund c/o Quattlebaum Funeral Home, 319 College Street, Roanoke, AL 36274.
