Funeral services for Tonya Formby Ferrell, age 50, of Roanoke will be held on Wednesday, December 7, 2016, at 12:00 PM (CST)/ 1:00 PM (EST) from Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Rev. Shane Formby and Rev. Scott Whaley officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4:00-8:00 PM (CST) on Tuesday, December 6, 2016. Mrs. Ferrell passed away Sunday, December 4, 2016, at her residence. Survivors include her husband, Fred Ferrell of Roanoke; two daughters, Lacey Norton Chandler of Hiram, GA, and Melisa Ferrell Moore (husband, Bryan) of Roanoke; two sons, Joseph Shay Norton of Temple, GA, and Adriel Gavin River Ferrell of Cullman, AL; one grandchild, Joseph Cole Chandler; parents, Jimmy & Connie Formby of Dallas, GA; maternal grandmother, Vinnie Mae Perren of Carrollton, GA; and one brother, Shane Formby (wife, Erin) of Dallas, Ga; and several aunts and uncles and several nieces and nephews. A resident of Randolph County for the past 22 years, Mrs. Ferrell was born in Carrollton, Georgia on October 26, 1966, the daughter of James Carl and Cornelia Gayle Perren Formby. She was Independent Baptist by faith and was a housewife.
