Obituary of Charles W. "Bill" Tyson
Funeral services for Charles W. “Bill” Tyson, age 76, of Roanoke, will be held on Wednesday, May 31, 2017, at 2:00 PM from Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Rev. Tyler Worthey officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memory Gardens with Quattlebaum Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Tyson passed away on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at his residence.
Survivors include his wife, Rudean Harvel Tyson; and one daughter, Wanda Tyson of Roanoke.
Pallbearers will be Todd Harvel, Randy East, John Najmeh, Kylie Laws, Randy Hall, and Tim Hall.
A Chambers County native, Mr. Tyson was born on May 8, 1941, the son of Frank and Rebecca Hadaway Tyson. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church and worked as an electrician for Amoco Fabrics. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Jane Lacey and Ann Lacey; and one brother, John Tyson.
