Funeral services for Jane Perry, age 83, of Roanoke will be held on Sunday, October 8, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Bro. Tim Whaley officiating.  Burial will follow at Randolph Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00-2:00 PM on Sunday before services begin.

Mrs. Perry passed away Friday, October 6, 2023, at Wellstar West Georgia Medical Center in LaGrange, GA.

Survivors include her husband, C.W. Perry; two daughters, Tammy Perry and Pam Mitchum (Keith), both of Roanoke; three grandchildren, Abbie Mitchum, Ashleigh Bailey (Sam), and Anna Staples (Kameron); and two great-grandchildren, Bentley Bailey and Waylon Bailey; one sister, Ouida Delashaw of Roanoke; and three brothers, Brian Kirby, Ronnie Kirby, and Keith Kirby, all of Roanoke.

Pallbearers will be James Tarver, Gary McDaniel, Randy McDaniel, Bobby Perry, Tim Jackson, and Jamie Taylor.

A Randolph County native, Mrs. Perry was born on September 9, 1940, the daughter of Charlie B. Kirby and Ester Parmer Williams.  She was a member of Handley Avenue Church of God and was a homemaker and a lunch lady for Roanoke City Schools.  Mrs. Perry loved her family and cooking for them, and she loved flowers and gardening.  She was preceded in death by her parents; her stepfather, Charlie P. Williams; and grandson, Keith Mitchum.
