Funeral services for Lurline Richardson Cole, age 93, of Roanoke will be held on Saturday, November 25, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Bro. Scott Whaley officiating.  Burial will follow at Randolph Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM on Saturday, November 25 before services begin.

Mrs. Cole passed away Wednesday, November 22, 2023, at her residence.

Survivors include: two daughters, Cynthia Crenshaw (Ricky) of Roanoke and Jennifer Loveless-Lott (Jeff) of LaGrange, GA; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; three sisters, Myrtle Heard of Roanoke, Diane Terry of Beulah, and Judy Randall of Bath, SC; and two brothers, Herschel Richardson of LaGrange, GA, and Jimmy Richardson of Roanoke.

Pallbearers will be Colby Crenshaw, Tracy Crenshaw, T. J. Scott, Jeff Lott, Devin Cole, Eli Crenshaw, Braelyn Davis, and Jamie Heard.

A lifelong Randolph County resident, Mrs. Cole was born on January 16, 1930, the daughter of Kaylor Levi and Vera Wood Richardson.  She worked as a seamstress at Palm Beach.  Mrs. Cole was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William Robert Cole, Jr.; grandson, Jeffery Cole; great-great-granddaughter, Delilah Cole; and siblings, Jewell Fisher, Flay Richardson, Sherrell Richardson, Marion Richardson, and Ray Richardson.
