Memorial services for Grover Lee Tarver, Jr., age 43, of Heflin will be held on Tuesday, November 28, 2023, at 2:00 PM at Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Bro. Stanley Yarbrough officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning at 1:00 PM on Tuesday before services begin.

Mr. Tarver passed away Thursday, November 23, 2023, at his residence.

Survivors include: two daughters, Autumn Paige Daniel and Desiree Daniel, both of Ranburne; his father, Grover Lee Tarver, Sr.; four grandchildren; one brother, Jason Bentley of Heflin; and one step-sister, Tammy Lynn Bentley of Ranburne.

A Houston, Texas native, Mr. Tarver was born on September 26, 1980, the son of Grover Lee Tarver, Sr.  He worked in construction with his father and enjoyed fishing in his free time.  Mr. Tarver was preceded in death by two sisters, Lisa Michelle Tarver and Margaret Ann Tarver; and step-mom, Ann Albritton.
