Obituary of Sandra June Alsabrook Perry
Funeral services for Sandra June Alsabrook Perry, age 83, of Roanoke will be held on Sunday, January 28, 2024, at 3:00 PM at Trinity Baptist Church with Rev. Aaron McCollough, Rev. Barry Cosper, and Rev. Danny Summerlin officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memory Gardens with Quattlebaum Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00-7:00 PM on Saturday, January 27, 2024. Mrs. Perry will lie in state at the church for one hour prior to services beginning on Sunday.
Mrs. Perry passed away Thursday, January 25, 2024, at Wellstar West Georgia Medical Center in LaGrange, Georgia.
Survivors include: one son, Chad Perry (Lyn) of Roanoke; two grandchildren, Claudia Perry and Cooper Perry; and two sisters, Carolyn Frank of Roanoke and Doris Colley of Valley.
Pallbearers will be Cooper Perry, Graham Martin, Jeff Gray, Freddy Brown, Michael Henderson, and Kevin Moshinski.
A Roanoke native, Mrs. Perry was born on January 15, 1941, the daughter of Eddie and Ruby Brown Alsabrook. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church and, during her career, worked as a supervisor for Playtex and as a purchaser for Chris Gay. Mrs. Perry was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Cooper Perry; one sister, Nell Willingham; and three brothers, Billy Alsabrook, Fred Alsabrook, and Ray Alsabrook.
Memorials may be floral or donations may be made to Trinity Baptist Church in her memory.
