Patricia Ann Watson, age 77, of Union City, Georgia passed away on April 22, 2024, at Emory Hospital – Midtown, in Atlanta. Private graveside services will be held at Randolph Memory Gardens.

Survivors include: two sisters, Martha Clack of Roanoke, and Sandra Sheppard (Benny) of Wedowee; a brother, James Watson of Roanoke; a special friend, Joe Imperatori; and several nieces and nephews, great-nephews and great-nieces and great-great-nieces.

Pallbearers will be Robbie Earnest, Benjy Sheppard, Patrick Mize, Aaron Sheppard, Matthew Sheppard, Matt Turner, And Stanley Earnest. Honorary pallbearers will be Kevin Watson and Tanner Sheppard.

A Randolph County, AL native, Ms. Watson was born on January 10, 1947, the daughter of Ailers and Pauline Kirby Watson. She was Christian by faith and had attended Union Hill Baptist Church as a young lady as well as several other churches in her later years. Ms. Watson had worked as a representative at Forest Lawn Gardens and at Hertz. She loved her family and wanted to spend as much time as possible with them. Ms. Watson also enjoyed keeping up with politics and travelling. One of her more endearing qualities was her generosity and her willingness to help others. Ms. Watson was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Robert Earnest and Vernon Watson; and two sisters, Annie Ruth Earnest and Mable Martin.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made to one’s favorite charity in her memory.
